The special Bulaqua magazine of the Bulgarian Water Association published an interview with Mariana Iteva, CEE Zone Industry Development Director, Deputy Country Director of Veolia for Bulgaria, and a member of the Board of Directors of Sofiyska Voda.
In the article she talks about her professional path and the successes of Veolia in the country and beyond its borders. An important emphasis was placed on the ecological transformation – the objective is to save 1.5 billion m3 of fresh water until 2027 globally. The topic for the water losses and water infrastructure problems in Bulgaria are also covered, and Sofiyska Voda, being part of Veolia, will share its experience with the other WSS operators in the country, the local authorities and the responsible institutions in order to allow the use of the innovative solutions already tested in Sofia and helping with the detection of big leaks and water reuse.
