In relation with different press publications, Veolia informs that the Group has neither interest nor involvement into any nuclear energy project development in the Republic of Bulgaria, alone or in partnership.
In particular the information given by the medias about an interest in the Belene Nuclear project are false and groundless.
Veolia’s core activities are strictly related to its 3 business lines and namely Water, Waste and Energy. The Group is present in Bulgaria through two of its business lines – water and energy, through the companies Sofiyska Voda and Veolia Energy Bulgaria EAD.
