At the beginning of June Sofiyska Voda AD started the reconstruction and displacement of a water main along Jawaharlal Nehru Blvd. in Lyulin 6 and 7 r.q. The value of the project is 900 thousand BGN and it envisages the replacement of more than one km of existing water main.

On August 7, 8 and 9 the citizens of Sofia and guests of the city can drink water from the already familiar watermen – temporary installations fully made of the materials of which the water network has been constructed.

During the active construction summer season 2017 Sofiyska Voda has been realizing projects worth over 5 million BGN. The biggest one is in Gorublyane residential quarter and is with value 1,980,000 BGN. The project started at the end of May and is expected to be completed in January, 2018. For the first time sewerage is being built and an existing water main is being replaced, which solves chronical problems in that quarter. The storm drain completed last year already prevents the risk of frequent flooding during heavy rains in that part of the residential area.
